Alina is a registered Acupuncturist with almost 10 years of experience in acupuncture. After graduating from MacEwan University’s Acupuncture Program, she completed an internship in China (Guangxi Medical University) as well as the Sports Medicine Acupuncture (SMA) Program in the New York Tri-State College of Acupuncture becoming a certified specialist in SMA. With a strong interest in musculo–skeletal conditions, Alina recently continued her education by taking advanced neuro–functional courses in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program (McMaster University) with Dr. Alejandro Elorriaga Claraco and Anatomy lab training with Tod Garcia.
With a strong western medical background and experience in General Surgery, Alina effectively integrates Western and Eastern medicine in her daily practice, helping people recuperate after injuries, enhance their physical performance and reduce daily stress. She is constantly successful in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and movement disorders, functional problems and problems of dysregulation, headaches and stress-related disorders and is happy to serve people of different ages and physical conditions!
