AMANDA FRANK
Amanda is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) that graduated from Grant MacEwan University. She was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, and relocated to Edmonton in 2022 for both the MacEwan Diploma program and the opportunity for personal growth.
Her decision to pursue a career as an RMT was influenced by various factors. Growing up, she was naturally adept at providing massages to her siblings and was a competitive athlete. During her high school years, she played on a U17/18 softball team and sustained a rotator cuff injury during a tournament. This experience led Amanda to explore various therapeutic modalities, including physiotherapy, massage therapy, athletic therapy, and chiropractic.
She is particularly excited and drawn to focused, targeted treatments for specific body areas, with her strength being with athletes of all sports and ages. She has had the opportunity to work with the Edmonton Elks CFL Team, Macewan University men’s and women’s hockey as well as University level soccer, volleyball and basketball!
In her free time, Amanda enjoys outdoor activities such as travel, photography hiking, and camping. Amanda participated in various sports throughout my childhood, including softball, basketball, rugby, and volleyball.
